Abstract
The quality of the learning process is reflected in the achievement of established learning standards. These standards serve as guidelines for all activities within the learning process, beginning with planning and implementation and extending to monitoring and evaluation. Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions are formal educational institutions that oversee the learning process by implementing an internal quality assurance system to ensure that the learning process is maintained and implemented in accordance with predetermined standards. This study found that, in assuring the quality of the learning process, ECE institutions establish policies based on applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies developed by the institutions themselves. Policies governing the learning process encompass learning planning, implementation, assessment, and supervision. The internal quality assurance mechanism implemented in Integrated ECE institutions consists of five stages: quality mapping, development of quality fulfillment plans, quality fulfillment, quality evaluation/audit, and the development of standards exceeding the National Education Standards (SNP). Several flagship programs are implemented in Integrated ECE institutions, including IT-based learning/e-learning, ICT Day, English Day, and Dinten Boso Jawi. Other programs include the establishment of reference lasses, the development of a school literacy culture, and the implementation of outdoor learning through field-based learning activities.
